Removing the side panniers
To remove the side pannier, turn key to open position and lift handle (A). Slide it slightly back and remove by pulling it out.
Fitting the side panniers
Set pannier in the relevant seat on the motorcycle and on the mount located on footrest bracket.

Pannier lock kit
Work on the fastener (18) to open the pannier.
After having opened it remove the fastener by loosening the screws (39) and remove the fairing (22) from the pannier.
Remove the bag containing the lock kit elements from inside the pannier. The bag contains:

Fit rotor (41), supplied with the bike, inside the stator (31), until you hear the click of the safety tab that locks the two parts to­gether.
Insert the stator (31) - rotor (41) unit inside the special seat on the fastener frame (22).
Turn the fastener frame (22) with the stator (31) - rotor (41) unit, and insert the lubricated spring (25) and the ball (26) in the rele­vant seats.
 
Couple the back plate (30) with the stator (31) - rotor (41) unit having care to keep spring (25) and ball (26) in their seats. The back plate (30) must be fitted both on the right and on the left side with the protruding round part faced towards handle and fastener.
Fasten then the back plate by tightening the screw (38).
Couple the slider (29) with the back plate (30) and insert the protruding part in the special groove. Carry out this operation with opened handle and fastener plate.
Insert the key in the lock and check that both back plate and slider move freely. Turn the key to open (horizontal) position, close the handle and the fastener plate, and reposition the fastener unit on the pannier bottom.
Tighten the three 2.9x9.5 countersunk screws (39).
Inside the pannier, tighten the four 6x25 round head screws (40) and the three 2.9x13 cheese-headed screws (42).
Elastic elements kit
The kit consists of:

To remove the pannier belts (9) loosen the screws (43), otherwise tighten them to reassemble the pannier belts (43).
 
To remove the elastic elements (7) loosen the screws (44) and keep the seals (8); for the assembly start the screws (44) in their threads with the seals (8) and tighten them.
Cover shield kit
To remove the cover (14) or (13) from the shield (12), loosen the two screws (15) inside the shield (12).
Remove the seal (10) from the shield seat (12).
Unscrew the other three screws (15) on the shield (12).
Remove the cover (14) from the shield (12).
 
Refitting is the reverse of removal.
Pannier bottom and low shield kit
To separate the pannier bottom (5) from the shield (12) slide out the pins (6).
To join the pannier bottom (5) with the shield (12) position them as shown, and fix them by inserting the pins (6).
Removing the filler plug lock
Closed plug.
Open the upper lid and cover the lock.
Introduce one of the supplied keys in the lock.
Turn the key clockwise (to the right).
Open the plug completely (until hearing a “click“) and leave the key inside the lock.
Use a special tool to push the latch fully home inside the plug.
 
Keep the latch pressed and remove the lock from the plug.
Release the latch once the lock has been removed.
Assembling the filler plug lock
With closed plug open the lid to uncover the lock housing seat.
Use a special tool to push the surface indicated by the arrow and slightly lift up the central body.
Remove the tool and completely open the central body until hearing the “click“.
 
Use a special tool to push the latch fully home inside the plug.
Keep this position until the lock has been inserted.
Insert one of the supplied keys in the lock and refer to the highlighted area for the correct introduction orientation.
Turn the highlighted area to the plug LEFT side.
Completely insert the lock inside the plug so as to align the lock surface with the painted aluminium plug body one.
Release the latch.
Try to open and close the plug several times to check its operation.
Close the plug and remove the key.
Close the lid.
