Removal of the seat
Insert the key into the seat lock (17) and rotate it clockwise until you hear the release click.
Slide off the passenger saddle (7), from the front retainer element pushing it forward and lift it up to remove it.
Remove the rider seat (1) from the bike by pulling it backwards slightly and lifting.
Removal of the side panels and seat cowling
To remove the side panels, it is necessary to remove the rider saddle (1) as described previously.
Unscrew the bolts (13) and (16) securing the right (12) and left (8) side panels to the rear subframe, and recover the washers (10) and (9).
Remove the right (12) and left (8) side panels by sliding them from the rear tail fairing.
Loosen and remove the screws (25) that retain the lower tail guard (23) and (24).
Loosen and remove the screws (26) and (27) that retain tail guard (23) and (24) on the upper side.
Remove the two tail guards (23) and (24).
Refitting the side panels and seat cowling
Place tail guard (23) and (24) on the vehicle by starting the upper retaining screws (26) and (27) and the lower retaining screws (25).
Start and tighten the screws (25) to a torque of 10 Nm ± 10% and screws (23) and (24) to a torque of 5 Nm ± 10% (Sect. 3 - 3, Frame torque settings).
Place the right (12) and left (8) side panels on the vehicle.
Fasten the right (12) and left (8) side panels inserting the screws (16) and left (13) with the washers (9) and (10).
Start and tighten the screws (13) to a torque of 4 Nm ± 10% and screws (16) to a torque of 2 Nm ± 10% (Sect. 3 - 3, Frame torque settings).
Refitting the seat
Place the rider seat (1) by matching and fitting the slots (A) with the special screws (B) of the tank, as shown in figure.
Fit the rider seat (1) rear side by inserting pin (C) in the relevant hole.
Insert the hook (D) of the passenger seat (7) bottom in the relevant tail guard opening.
Push the passenger saddle rear end (7) until pin clicks in place inside latch.
