Important
Bold reference numbers in this section identify parts not shown in the figures alongside the text, but which can be found in the exploded view diagram.
Removal of the front footrests
Note
The removal of the front footrests is described only for the right one (8) but it is the same also for the left one.
 
Remove the circlip (9) releasing the pin (2).
Slide the pin (2) off the frame by supporting the footrest (8).
Slide off the footrest (8) from its seat and collect the spring (7).
Refitting the front footrests
Note
The assembly of the front footrests is described only for the right one (8) but it is the same also for the left one.
 
Place the spring (7) bringing the end (A) onto the footrest (8).
Place the footrest (8) in the correct position, by inserting the end (C) of the spring (7) in the hole (D) of the frame plate.
Insert pin (2) orienting it as illustrated.
Lock the pin by inserting the circlip (9).
 
Removing of the rear footrests
Note
The removal of the rear footrests is described for the right side but it is the same for both.
 
Undo the screws (18) and remove the RH rear footrest plate (19) from the frame.
If necessary, remove the footrest rubber (20).
Remove the circlip (6) by releasing the pin (17).
Remove the pin (17) of the footrest bracket (19), holding the footrest (15) and taking care not releasing the ball (3) and the spring (1).
Remove the footrest (15) from its seat, collecting the spring (1) and the ball (3).
Remove the spring stop (16).
Handle kit
It is possible to fit the handle kit on the LH rear footrest plate (10).
To remove the handle (24) loosen screw (25) and recover spring (23).
During the reassembly check the presence of the pin (22) on plate (10); if necessary insert it fully home in hole (E) of the LH rear footrest plate (10).
Insert one of the two ends (F) of spring (23) in hole (G) of plate (10).
Fit handle (24) by starting the screw (25).
Note
During the handle (24) it is necessary to insert the other end (F) of spring (23) in the handle hole (H) and match the pin (22) with the special seat on the handle.
 
Tighten the screw (25) to a torque of 20 Nm ± 10% (Sect. 3 - 3, Frame torque settings).
Refitting the rear footrests
Note
The refitting of the rear footrests is described for the right side but it is the same for both.
 
Insert the spring stop (16) in the hole (A) of the rear right footrest rubber bracket (19), orienting it as illustrated.
Note
If needed, apply the recommended grease on the pin (B) of the spring stop (16), so as to keep it in the correct position.
 
Insert the spring (1) in the corresponding hole of the footrest (15).
Locate the ball (3) on the spring (1).
Fit the footrest (15) on the rear right footrest rubber bracket (19) inserting the pin (17), orienting the parts as illustrated.
Lock the pin by means of the circlip (6).
If previously removed, refit the footrest rubber (20) by inserting the pads (B) in the corresponding slots of the footrest (15), press­ing until the teeth (C) of the footrest platform trim engage over the edges (D) of the footrest platform itself (15).
Apply the recommended threadlocker to the screws (18).
Place the RH rear footrest plate (19) on the frame and tighten the screws (18) to a torque of 24 Nm ± 10% (Sect. 3 - 3, Frame torque settings).
